What the project solves
BallisticsLab is a specialized database for air and ammunition, especially diabolas. The purpose is not only to create a list of products, but to store parameters so that individual items can be compared and traced back to where the specific value comes from.
What the catalogue records
The ammunition shall be registered by the manufacturer, diameter / calibre, type of header, weight, price, intended use and notes. Practical measurements can complement the chrono speed and the derived energy from it. The record may simultaneously retain the value source, so that it is possible to distinguish the manufacturer, seller, self measurement or other reference source.
Analysis and comparison
The database structure allows for comparison of ammunition by weight, design, price or measured power and gradually extend it by additional weapons and test kits. The project thus combines a catalogue, experimental recorder and analytical layer for long-term work with its own measurements.
