What the project solves

Decimal Clock PRO is an advanced desktop widget for decimal and classic time display, SVG skins, digital overlay and X/Y oscilloscope directly in the clock scene.

Typical use

  • Visual X / Y audio oscilloscope
  • Production and use of SVG skins

How the application works and what it is for

Overview

Decimal Clock PRO (previously tested as DeciCLK _ PRO) represents the peak of development of decimals widgets within the framework of the MFilmDB. In addition to standard time display, it brings a unique function Oscilloscope X / Y Overlaywhich is drawn directly into QGraphicsScene and continuously spreads along with the dial.

  • Primary purpose: Aesthetic and functional widget with audio signal visualization (X / Y).
  • Application type: Desktop Widget with GraphicsScene architecture.
  • Key functions: Oscilloscope (L / R swap, gain, colors), SVG skins with metadata support.
  • Technology: Python, , QGraphicsView, NumPy (for render oscilloscope).

Application

The application works as a floating widget to the desktop with rich customization options.

  • Display: Switching between 10h (decimal), 12h and 24h modes.
  • Interaction: Left mouse drawing (LMB) for moving, size change wheel.
  • Oscillloscope: Key turns on X / Y visualization directly into the dial.
  • Digital overlay: cycles the position of digital clock in the corners of the widget.

Troubleshooting

  • Visual artifacts: Make sure you have the current GPU drivers and support for Qt hardware acceleration.
  • Missing skins: Check the paths in . The app searches in global and local storage.
  • High CPU: Reduce the thickness of the oscilloscope lines or turn off the linemode in favour of the dot- mode.

The total amount of the funding received shall be reported in column 060.

How to unlock the clock position? If you have locked the clock (Ctrl + L), it can be unlocked via the context menu in the system bar (Tray).

Does it work like wallpaper? Not directly, but thanks to the "Bottom" mode (in the context of the menu) and transparency, it can behave like this.
