DefaultsEditor QT

Overview

DefaultsEditor QT is a development tool designed to quickly modify constants and configuration parameters of applications without the need for manual searching of thousands of code lines. The application uses over 50 regular expressions to detect window geometry, timeouts, font sizes and localization chains.

Application

The QT default editor allows quick modification of application parameters without manual searching in code:

1. File opening: Over or batch mode argument read Python script.
2. Analysis: The application automatically passes the code and collects the values into bookmarks by category (Geometry, Timeouts, etc.).
3. Editing: Change values in input fields. The changed items are visually highlighted.
4. Preview: Click on the value to immediately display the appropriate location in the code in the right panel.
5. Storage: Over You will write down the changes. The original file is moved to .

Troubleshooting

• Value not found: If your code uses a non-standard assignment (e.g. dynamic string generation), regex analyzer may not capture it.
• Save Error: Make sure the file is not opened in another editor with an exclusive lock for writing.

Is editing safe? Yes, the application does not change the code structure, it merely replaces specific literary on exact indices. Plus, a backup is always created.
