Practical workflow and safe renaming
DirectAdderGenner _ QT is not just a generator of numbered directories. graphical interface unifies three ways of creating structure: one component, a manually entered list and a parametric series with one to three levels of immersion. For series, the number of items, the initial value and step can be set and the placeholder can be used , formatted variants of type , date or name of the parent folder. It is possible to prepare a repeatable tree structure for projects, audio / video collections, experimental runs or archive data without manual creation of hundreds of directories.
A preview of the resulting paths is used before the entry. Manual mode accepts names separated by comma or semicolon, maintains gaps and performs case- insensitive deduplication. In a collision, the application can create a unique suffix instead of an unwanted overwrite of an existing name. The same philosophy "first display, then execute" is also used for renaming.
Bulk rename
Mass renaming can scan the selected depth of the directory structure, filter items according to the content and combine Replace, Prefix and Suffix operations. Optionally, regular expressions and transformation steps can be used as a conversion to large / small letters or removing excess gaps. Preview table shows original name, new name and item status proposed; conflict targets can be skipped. If automatic transformation is not sufficient, the target names can be manually edited in the table before making changes.
Explorer, thumbnails and localization
The main window includes a selection of target directory, log and simple explorer with thumbnails. Thumbnails size is configurable from approximately 32 to 320 px and QtSvg or cairovong fallback is available for SVG. The interface uses / Qt6 and built-in CZ / EN localization with over 100 strings. The internal parameters of the series and renaming are separated into data structures and , so the preview and the actual execution of the operation work over the same input.
