How the application works and what it is for
Overview
MfilmDB Qt represents the new generation of MFilmDB film database. While the original version was built on , Qt edition brings hardware acceleration UI, advanced real-time filtering and full integration with modern OS (Windows 11 snap layouts, Dark Mode).
Application uses engine which allows the smooth processing of collections of tens of thousands of records without visual degradation. A shared ecosystem with a version ensures that the user can switch between the two editions over the same data (mfilmb.sqlite3) without risk of damage to integrity or the need for migration.
Statistics & Tech Info
The statistical module has been redesigned to be a non-blocking singleton model, allowing an overview of the collection to be opened parallel to the work in the main table.
