What the project solves
The QT Repaudit is an analytical centre for auditing larger source repositories. Automatically extracts application metadata, checks dependencies, documentation and graphic assetts and stores results so that the project status can be compared over time.
How the application works and what it is for
Overview
RepoAudit QT is the analytical centre of the entire project of the MFilmDB. It serves to maintain the hygiene of the repository, extract technical metadata from all subapplications and supervise the consistency of documentation and graphic sources.
- Metadata Extract: Automatic parsing , and directly from Python files.
- SVG Integrity: Audit subsystem for detection of defective icons (blank render, missing viewBox).
- Dependency Analysis: Identification of third party import and check their availability in the environment.
- Documentation Guard: Visualization of README application coverage and HTML documentation.

Application
The application is used for automated checking of the entire repository of the MFilmDB.
- Scanning: The "Run Audit" button will go through all the folders and search for Python files.
- Metadata: Automatically extracts versions, authors and descriptions directly from the source code.
- Documentation: Indicates the missing README or HTML documentation (red / green indicator).
- SVG Audit: Special module for checking and automatic repair of SVG icons (viewBox, render test).
Troubleshooting
- Slow scanning: The first launch may take longer for large depositors. The data are subsequently cached in DB.
- Error version: If the application does not find a version, make sure that you use standard variables in the code as or .
- Locked auto-fix: Before starting the SVG repair we recommend to have a clean GIT status for possible rollback.
The total amount of the funding received shall be reported in column 060.
Can you export results? Yes, there is a complete export of the audit logo to the TXT format.
Does it work on other projects? The application is optimized for the structure of the MFilmDB, but can be adapted by resetting the root components.
