Extended profile

SID Tools Builder is an auxiliary graphical interface tool for SID / Commodore 64 audio workflow within VMS. It concentrates building and packing steps that would otherwise be run manually, and provides one place for configuration of inputs, control of results and reassembly of tools.

Build and Validation

The user chooses the input configuration, starts the build and monitors the log in one window. Part of the workflow is the check of inputs and validation of the result, so the tool is not just a wrapper over one command, but a service layer for a repeatable SID toolchain.

Role in VMS

The project is designed for preparing and managing tools around SID workflow and follows up on its own MIDI / retro- audio experiments. Results and log can be exported, which makes diagnostics easier when the builder or input data are changed.
