Anne 133 String Cover
The instrumental string cover of Nico Baran's music.

Most of my work is instrumental. When I use vocals, I don't just see them as a text carrier, but also as another sound, rhythmic and color layer of the song. Therefore, according to the character of the particular composition, I work with different languages and types of vocal expression.
The basis for me is the music structure itself - melodies, harmony, rhythm, sound color and their mutual movement. The vocal track can have the same function as the synthesizer, sampler or other tool: it can carry meaning, but also work mainly phonetically, rhythmically or texturally.
In addition to Czech and English, I therefore use or select, for example, according to the composition Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Tamil, Persian and Kurdish. The choice of language is not only a matter of the importance of the text; I am also interested in its rhythm, articulation, length of syllables, consonant drawing and overall sound in the mix.
For now, I create vocal parts using synthetic AI tools. I also plan to collaborate with live singers in the future. I then shape the vocals as part of the resulting sound and arrangement as needed.
♪ I've been making them repeatedly ♪ arpeggia and arpeggiated figures, triols, polyharmonic and polyrhythmic processes, drum filters, microforming, glitch interventions and working with vocalizer. I move in style across electronic music - there are often elements techna, Italo disco, synthwave, new wave, drum & bass, synth-music, chip-music and NDWbut it's not a closed list or trying to hold every song inside one genre.
The individual compositions therefore describe more axes simultaneously: year, album or collection, categories, style, techniques used and, where appropriate, vocal language. One composition can naturally belong to several stylish and technical groups.

Another version of the song Avì Xiyaró with the Kurdish vocals.

Kurdish vocal song following the older English "Watermelon Juice B." It is not a simple translation: it has its own Kurdish text, an evening urban atmosphere and a theme of the proximity of two people. The recurring picture "Avì xiyarú" works with water on purpose in a clear way - not only literally, but also as a picture of freshening, movement, mood and mutual attraction.

Older author reggae version "Joining (Rege-Remix)" which works as a precursor to later concept / composition "Smokers XD." The English chorus works with a sequence of short words; around 2: 20 a passage appears with a musical reference to the Pachelbel Canon.

Original author's song "Joining." It is a separate basic version; the genre is not marked as reggae.

HardCore cover / rework own songs "Pandemonium Boogie."

The Czech rock vocal variant "Hell Dog" with concert-styled energy, theatrical hell atmosphere, distinctive building-ups, scream inputs and a striking chorus. The "Live" label describes the style of the arrangement; it is not a record of a live singer.

Czech rock vocal composition with theatrical hell stylization, distinctive building-ups, screen inputs and chorus built on images of demons, punishment and "hellish dogs." The text works with the exaggerated horror role of storytellers and card metaphors of people who find out too late that they are not in control.

English vocal composition and direct predecessor of later "Avé Xiyarú F." Both tracks share the default themes, but the Kurdish version uses a different text and shifts the importance towards the specific water theme.

Dutch vocal cover / adaptation of comedy rap "Pocket Full of Fries" by Aditya The Vyagran Knight. The English draft serves as a default framework, but the text is reworked into Dutch and builds on its own series of self-ironic daily disasters that return to the chorus "Zak vol patat."
