RED HOUSE REPORT: A REAL NATISTICAL PLAN FOR THE LIQUID ECONOMY OR "EU PLAN"?

RED HOUSE REPORT: A REAL NATISTICAL PLAN FOR THE LIQUID ECONOMY OR "EU PLAN"?

INTRODUCTION

The story of the so-called Red House Report is one of the topics where an authentic historical paper has been linked over time to a much wider theory. The core of the story is real: American archives contain the news report SHAEF EW-Pa 128 of November 1944, which describes the meeting of German industrialists in Strasbourg in August of the same year. According to the report, the participants envisaged the defeat of Germany and discussed how to preserve assets, foreign contacts and industrial capacities for the post-war period. The report also mentions funding for illegal Nazi activity.

From there, however, a long way to the claim that the European Union is the implementation of the Nazi project "Fourth Reich." The authenticity of one document does not show any later interpretations that have been followed. This is the difference that makes the story the most interesting.

1. What's EW-Pa 128

The document was created within the Allied Intelligence apparatus SHAEF, Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force. Message dated 7. On November 1944, she captured information about meetings of German industrialists and representatives of the Nazi state in Strasbourg. August 1944.

In 2025, he returned to his origin in detail to the American National Archives and Records Administration. The archive confirmed that the document is not a modern forgery. It is part of real intelligence funds, and its content is consistent with the Allies' fears that German companies and Nazi networks will be transferring capital to neutral states before they are slaughtered and preparing for post-war facilities.

That's an important starting point. The debate is not supposed to begin with the question of "there was a document?." He existed. The right question is: what exactly does it prove?

2. _

According to the news, German industrialists were warned that war could no longer be won militarily. They should therefore prepare for a "post-war trade campaign," establish or maintain links with foreign companies and move capital so that German companies survive defeat.

The report states two levels. The first was pragmatic: to secure assets, patents, contacts and foreign structures of German industry. The second was political: part of the financial resources were intended to support the illegal Nazi activity and the restoration of German power in the future.

Such a thought was not absurd in 1944. German leadership has already seen that the military situation is catastrophic. At the same time, the experience of defeating 1918 showed that military surrender may not mean the complete elimination of economic elites. The preservation of capital and contacts was rational for companies, regardless of whether their managers shared a Nazi ideology at the same time.

3. NACITICAL ECONOMIC AND GREAT FIRMS

The Third Reich was not an economically isolated apparatus composed of only NSDAP members. The war economy was built on cooperation between the state, banks, industrial groups and forced labour. Companies such as IG Farben, Krupp and other German companies were involved in various ways in the production of war, arising assets and using forced-deployed and prisoners.

After the war, the Allies therefore addressed not only the criminal responsibility of political and military representatives, but also the issue of economic structures. In the subsequent Nuremberg trials, IG Farben and Krupp's senior staff were tried. But the result was not to remove all the pre-war elites from the economic life of West Germany.

This is historically more important than the fantastic idea of a secret headquarters that has been running European politics for decades. The continuity of staff, property, legal experience and corporate networks was real. Denacification had a different intensity, in the Cold War, Western powers' priorities had shifted, and Western Germany's economic recovery became a strategic goal.

4. _

Yes. That's not a conspiracy claim. In administration, justice, diplomacy and the economy of West Germany, people who worked in the Third Reich institutions before 1945 or in organizations that cooperated with the regime were involved. However, the extent and nature of this continuity differed on a case-by-case basis.

However, it does not follow that the postwar Federal Republic was the hidden continuation of the Nazi state. The institutional framework was fundamentally different: pluralistic elections, constitutional rights protection, federalism, more independent judiciary and gradual integration into Western structures. A historian must be able to hold both facts simultaneously - the existence of human continuity and the change of political regime.

5. ROBERT SCHUMAN AND ORIGIN OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION

The claim that European integration was simply a fulfilment of the Nazi programme is already facing a problem with its key protagonists. Robert Schuman, whose 9-year-old statement. On May 1950, he became one of the foundations of the European Coal and Steel Community, not a Nazi planner. He was arrested during the war by the Gestapo and later worked in the resistance.

Schuman's plan was to put French and West German coal and steel production under joint transnational control. The logic was specifically peaceful: the material base of possible other French-German wars to link up so that the war would become not only politically but also economically more difficult.

This does not mean that European integration was without economic interests. On the contrary: it was an economic project from the beginning. The difference is that economic integration itself is not proof of Nazi origin.

6. WALTER HALLSTEIN: WHY HIS NAME IN FIGURY TEORIES

The common argument is Walter Hallstein, the first President of the Commission of the European Economic Community. Hallstein was a German lawyer and professor before the war. During the Nazi period his academic career continued and he was a member of some professional organizations which were either Nazi or integrated in the framework structures in a totalitarian state.

However, the available biographic sources do not show that he is a member of NSDAP. After the war he passed an allied screening and became one of the architects of West German European politics. It is therefore correct to examine to what extent academic and legal elites have adapted to the Nazi regime. It is not correct to automatically create proof of membership of a professional organisation that the EEC was a Nazi project.

7. Was THE EUROPEAN BLOCK OF A PRESENCE IN NACITICAL MIDDLE?

Yes. German political and economic elites before and during the war worked with the concepts of Mitteleuropa, the continental economic space and Europe organised under German hegemony. But Nazi "New Europe" was not an equal-state project. It was part of a racial and imperial arrangement in which Germany had a dominant position and a large part of Eastern Europe was to be forcibly redesigned.

The post-war European institutions also benefited from the concept of integration, the elimination of trade barriers and the common market. However, the similarity of some economic instruments does not mean the identity of the political objective. The road can serve both the military and civil transport; the existence of the same instrument does not prove the same mission.

8. WHERE THE SKIP IS FROM RED HOUSE TO "EU = FOUR ROAD"

The jump usually takes the following form:

1. In 1944, German industrialists planned economic survival after defeat.

2. Indeed, some German businesses and elites survived the war and later prospered.

3. West Germany has become an economic power.

4. The European Community has created a common market and Germany has gained a great economic influence in it.

5. That is why the European Union is implementing the Nazi plan.

The first three points have a significant historical support. The fourth is a description of the postwar development. The fifth, however, is not a logical consequence of the previous points. To prove it, it would be necessary to demonstrate the organizational continuity, the command line or a specific plan leading from the 1944 illegal Nazi network to the ECSC, EEC and later the EU. That's not the evidence Red House Report provides.

9. WHY IS DOCUMENT IMPORTANT

It's important right now without a conspiracy extension. It shows that a part of the German elites had been realistically considering the post-Hitler world before the war ended. Military defeat didn't have to mean economic suicide. Capital, know-how and business relationships could be moved across borders and protected.

The document also recalls that the border between state power and private capital under the Third Reich was not easy. The industry benefited from arms and expansion, but companies also had their own long-term interest in surviving the political regime with which they cooperated.

Finally, it is useful for studying post-war denaturation: how far was old structures possible to be removed without collapse of governance and economics? When did pragmatism become too tolerant? These are real historical questions that do not need the theory of an omnipotent secret plan.

10. GERMAN ECONOMIC STRENGTH IN THE TODAY EU

Germany is the largest economy in the European Union, and its preferences are of considerable importance in European policy. This is a legitimate subject of criticism of the European power structure. For example, the different impacts of the common market, monetary union, fiscal rules or the German export model on individual Member States can be analysed.

Such criticism is more accurate if it does not have to prove Nazi genealogy. Modern hegemony can be created through the size of the economy, the rules of institutions and the negotiating force. It's not necessary to assume a secret organization from 1944.

11. WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE RECORDING TO THE HIGH GUARANTEES

  • SHAEF EW-Pa 128 is an authentic period news document.
  • It describes planning part of the German industry for the post-war period and capital transfers abroad.
  • It contains claims about future funding for illegal Nazi activity and the restoration of German power.
  • Indeed, some German economic and professional elites continued their careers after the war.
  • Western Germany has become a key engine of European integration.

What, on the contrary, does not the document itself prove:

  • that the European Coal and Steel Community was established under a secret order from the Nazi Party;
  • that postwar European politicians have been working as agents of illegal NSDAP;
  • that today's EU is the institutional continuation of the Third Reich;
  • that the similarity between economic integration and some Nazi ideas about the continental economy is the same political project.

CONCLUSION

Red House Report is a better and darker story when it doesn't have to turn into a universal conspiracy key. The document shows how quickly a part of the elite of a totalitarian state has managed to shift from an expected military victory to an economic post-defeat survival. It recalls that capital and institutions have a longer life than regimes and that the denaturation has never been an absolute discounting.

At the same time, historical continuity is not the same as secret management. European integration was created in another political framework and among its founders were people persecuted by the Nazi regime. Criticizing today's European power ratios can be without assigning more to an authentic document than it actually says.
