How the application works and what it is for

Formation, waves and bosses

Galaga Phoenix transmits the principle of classical fixed- screen / arcade shooter into its own modern runtime. Enemies are coming in formation and waves, using different patterns of movement and shooting, and campaign progress leads to more challenging stage and boss encounters. A player's boat works with multiple gun and projectile classes.

Power-up and progress systems

The game includes powerups, shield, smart bombs and other support mechanics. Local save / continue and stage select allow you to follow the interface procedure while high-score maintains arcade motivation for repeated playing.

Integrated Stage Editor

The editor is not a separate one-time tool, but part of a normal level-authorizing workflow. Allows you to assemble and test your own stage, formation and timing. The same data structure then uses runtime games, which reduces the difference between "editor" and "game."

UNI GAME CORE

Galaga Phoenix together with Mars Patrol forms an important basis for shared UNI GAME CORE. The joint solution includes storage, location of CZ / EN, scaling of UI, video settings, assettes and other reusable subsystems.
