Game system, progress and autohoring
Stage A- Z and three vehicles
Mars Patrol is building on a longer stage progression. The individual worlds and levels are organized as stage A-Z with bonus content. The player can use three different vehicles and gradually improve them. Checkpoint stations operate as campaign points and at the same time as shop for HP repairs, fuel, ammunition, weapons and other upgrades.
Seed workflow and editor
Levels may be based on deterministic seed generation and subsequently be manually modified. The level editor itself is part of the development workflow as well as other game projects. This allows you to quickly create map variants, test difficulty and after the automatic level design, manually fine-tune.
UNI GAME CORE
Mars Patrol is an important branch of the universal gaming core. Sharing experience with assetts, audio, persistence, resolution, fullscreen / V-Sync behavior and CRT / scan presentation with other game projects.
